Roscommon Masters delivered a commanding second-half performance to claim the All-Ireland Plate title in Kiltoom on Saturday. Level at 0-6 at half-time, Roscommon surged ahead, outscoring Armagh 1-9 to 0-4 in the second period.
Senan Kilbride led the charge, scoring seven points, including three crucial points in the first half. A decisive 1-5 scoring run in the third quarter, capped by Paul Gilleran’s goal from Kilbride’s precise pass, sealed the victory. Cathal Dineen, Garvan Dolan, Conor Beirne, Dermot Foley, and Ger Heneghan also shone for Roscommon.
After falling short in the 2021 and 2023 finals, this win rewards the resilience of Anthony Carroll’s squad and management.
